Ferry to Oyster Bay Yacht Club

Amelia River Cruises has begun offering ferry service to dinner at the Oyster Bay Yacht Club, with an option for Oyster Bay residents and members to sail to Fernandina on the flip side. This special water taxi service will be available several Saturdays throughout the coming year.

Passengers out of Fernandina will enjoy a short boat ride to and from Oyster Bay, followed by dinner – their choice of one of three entrees, with salad, fresh vegetables, Starch du Jour, dessert and either Iced Tea, Coffee or Soft Drink. Oyster Bay members and residents will have the option to sail to and from Fernandina as well, with one and one half hour to enjoy downtown Fernandina Beach.

Captain Kevin's Blurb on Weather

U.S. Coast Guard inspected, each vessel provides a safe stable ride with a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain onboard. With shade canopies and side curtains, you’re assured of comfort – rain or shine. Due to the rapid changes in weather here in Florida, forecasts are not always reliable, we very seldom have rain that will last all day, therefore cruise cancellations are not based solely on weather forecasts. The captain will usually not cancel a cruise until very close to the time of the cruise, or may choose to delay departure. Thunderstorms, heavy or steady rain, extreme cold, and/or winds in excess of 25 mph may cause a cruise to be canceled. Please feel free to call us if you have any concerns. Onboard restrooms, blankets and cold water are available.
